Entrepreneurs – What Makes Them Tick

21 Dec

We call them entrepreneurs. They are the new breed of men and women who run their successful businesses in the most divergent, non-traditional ways that we know of from actual business enterprises and from schools. live girls In practice, there had also been people like them in the past – business mavericks that succeeded beyond anybody’s imagination. live chat video However, with the unprecedented growth of online businesses nowadays, the number of successful entrepreneurs also grew.

From what had been observed by experts (and amply demonstrated in the past) these enterprising men and women have always been unafraid of taking risks. They have an uncommon sense of creativity (financial and more). They also possess an uncanny eye in identifying the banal from the sublime when it comes to business.

Qualities

Entrepreneurs are usually found to work on small niche markets in trying out their unconventional ideas. One other common characteristic they have is fondness for taking calculated risks in everything they do.

People like them are different because they actually love challenges, and they look at the risks of going into new ventures as perfect challenges. They do this because they do not have much to fear. Somehow, they must have felt or probably known most of the things in those areas they set out to conquer. Knowledge usually erases the fear factor.

Still, they can be instinctively creative in most everything they do. You can also see it in kids who run lemonade stands, sell candies to their friends or organize a garage sale. (Of course, not everyone who did businesses as kids will grow into top businessmen.)

Other characteristics

Most entrepreneurs begin their businesses solely based on their personal passion and vision. Most of them, however, (like the rest of us) sometimes stumble into new ideas by solving old problems in some innovative, unconventional ways. The difference between them and us is the speed with which they seize the opportunity.

They formulate their big business decisions on their own, sometimes founded on solid set of facts. However, a big chunk of this talented group does their decision-making mostly based on their hunches and gut feel. At other times, they do seek advice from experts and other experienced people, although these cases are rare.

More skills

These enterprising types of people have innate skills in making good plans. They seem to follow what somebody said before that “failure to plan is a plan to fail.”

In the real world, many small businesses do not last long enough. The main cause is the lack of a concrete plan. Successful people look like they are unafraid to make risky decisions. It had been found that those decisions have been based on solid, sound business plans.

Negotiation skills

Entrepreneurs have been discovered to be gifted with innate negotiating skills – that of making both sides a winner. For ordinary people like us, negotiations have always been characterized as trying to get as much as we can from a deal.

These people have the talent and instincts to make everybody on the negotiating table going away satisfied. They have the knack of making everyone – colleagues, suppliers, even competitors – feel like winners.

People skills

More than the next regular guy, they also possess that special ability to delegate the right work to the right person. They can size up a person and his abilities the first time around.

This is a vital gift in the sense that in many new startup companies there is always the danger of the wrong person doing the wrong line of work. This usually happens in new setups where nobody had tested each person’s capacity, aptitude and skills.

Networking /EQ

These people also know in their guts that entrepreneurship is not something you do on your own. In a society such as ours, inter-connectivity is a vital lifeline to anyone, without exception.

The idea and the methods might be your own, but working on it and making it possible still needs the support of everyone – family, friend, colleagues, and probably someone who shares his experiences.

Entrepreneurs also have that other special gift termed as emotional intelligence (EQ). In a nutshell, this is a set of skills that allows you to understand and influence the behavior of yourself and others. This is very important because as entrepreneurs you must have the varied skills of handling other people, the situation and yourself.

Koi Fish Tattoos – Tattooing For Success

22 Nov

Koi fish swim strongly against the current of the flowing water. A legend tells of how these fish push mightily, their bodies struggling against the current of the Yellow River. For those who make it through the waterfall at Dragon Gate, a reward awaits them. They transform into dragons. This tale has had special meaning for those who choose to honor the koi and wish to mirror its success by getting koi fish tattoos.

In China and Japan, the wild koi have taken on a significance that extends beyond their surface brilliance. The multitude of colors, including blue, gold and calico, are but a small part of their significance. The rarity of some breeds that results in astronomical prices, has little bearing on its overall worth. These fish through their tenacity have come to represent so much more than the beauty of their appearance. They are truly the warrior fish of Japan.

The meaning of koi fish is multi-layered. Like most symbolism there is no single meaning behind the image. This fish indicates good luck or fortune. It is also a sign of strength in design, determination when faced with difficulties, and courage throughout life’s challenges. The carps, ranging in size from the largest for the eldest son to the smaller ones representing the younger boys, is perceived as the ideal image of what a boy need aspire towards.

Koi Fish Tatoos

The symbolism extends to tattoos. Those who decide to decorate their bodies are looking to attract or enhance the qualities associated with the koi fish. These tattoos indicate the capability of an individual to strive for advancement, to reach for what he or she wants out of this world. Such a tattoo also acts like sympathetic magic to attract luck and good fortune.

The specific symbolism behind them tattoos will vary in accordance with certain variables. Before you obtain your tattoo, make certain it is exactly what you want. Consider the specific aspects that will affect its overall interpretation including color, size, direction or position and number. For example, the depiction of a platinum koi fish indicates the bearer is hoping to obtain wealth through business success. Koi fish tattoos that are of gold fish, however, are symbolic of more general wealth, gold and prosperity.

For those who want to eternal wealth and welfare, the koi fish tattoos should consist of 5 gold-colored koi. If your body sports a fish swimming upwards, it indicates the struggle towards achieving your goals. If the fish is facing downwards, it indicates the challenge has been overcome. Do keep these in mind and consult someone before you order a stencil for koi fish tattoos.

Conclusion

The koi fish is representative of several significant admirable characteristics and tattoos symbolize your desire to achieve these goals. The color, number and even direction of the tattoo will demonstrate clearly what your aim is. Select the design for your tattoos wisely.

Are You Afraid to Approach Beautiful Single Women?

22 Nov

This week I want to talk about beautiful single women and I’m talking about women who are extraordinarily beautiful. The kind that turn men’s heads and make them drool. I’m sure you know the kind of woman I’m talking about.

So, does this kind of woman seem unapproachable to you? Does this kind of woman make you nervous and you think you wouldn’t stand a chance to get a date with her?

Many men are intimidated by extremely beautiful single women and they don’t even make an effort to approach them. They have bought into the following myths that are for the most part untrue:

Beautiful single women are constantly getting all the attention that they could possibly want. This is simply not true because beautiful women get lonely just like any other ordinary woman.

Because you’re not handsome, beautiful women will not be interested in you. Not always true! Most women, in general, are more interested in your character and how good you treat them rather than how good-looking you are.

Similar to the previous statement, it’s a myth that beautiful single women will only date handsome hunks.

Men wrongly assume that all beautiful single women already have a boyfriend, so it would be a waste of time to try and meet them. Nothing could be further from the truth. Some women even don’t date much because men are too afraid to approach them.

All beautiful single women are self-centered, spoiled, stuck-up, gold digger bitches. Trust me, these traits are not just unique to them. Ugly and ordinary-looking women can possess these very same qualities. No matter what women look like they all have good and bad qualities.

In closing, don’t be intimidated by beautiful women. Approach them just like you would any other women. After all they need love too and will be impressed that you had the balls to approach them and not intimidated by their looks.

Distant Healing Love

22 Nov

Following a conference call with a colleague I was asked to give distant healing to a person many thousands of miles away. The person is very famous but has undergone many emotional and physical challenges in the last few years.

I was asked by my colleague to connect to him and was informed that he had agreed to this. But when I connected to him I found the experience quite unique.

For many years I have been able to take my spirit out of my physical body and travel to a different aspect of my Self — as, in reality, we are all one.

On this occasion, I waited until I went to bed at night and, at the junction point between waking and sleeping, I took my conscious awareness out of my body and travelled — I suppose one could call it through the Astral Planes — to the space occupied by this person.

As I arrived I was surprised to meet with quite a bit of resistance. The best may be to describe my experience: as I mentioned above, I did not take my physical body, only my spiritual awareness.

As I came around him to start the healing process, he started to lash out at me, lunging his hands into my body to rip me apart. The easiest way to visualize this process would be like a sword fight.

If you can imagine him with a sword in his hand slicing the air where I was standing and lunging the sword through me, you will get a feel for the level of resistance I was experiencing.

Because I did not take my physical body with me you can see why this was so futile. The sword was just passing through me: I was existing only in the empty space, so it looked as though he were just attacking fresh air.

After a while he began to tire and realize himself that this was futile and he could not hurt or destroy me. As he relaxed and accepted my presence, I was able to connect to him telepathically and I started to send loving, supportive thoughts to help with his healing process.

Since that initial joining of our spirits, I have not experienced any resistance from him. I now feel that he is gaining the support and love he needs from the inside to change his life on the outside.

I will keep working with him over the next few months to build his self-esteem and confidence. I feel the healing process is well under way and that, over time, he can gain in self-confidence, become self-sufficient again and live a happy, normal life.

How to Get People to Listen to You

22 Nov

It can be really frustrating when you have some thing that you want to say if people don’t take any notice of you. However, if you are saying the right things in the right way at the right time, you can make great progress in how to get people to listen to you.

1. Make sure you have the correct information

Nobody will want to listen to you if you are trying to tell them something they know or suspect to be wrong. Check your facts first before you try to present them.

2. Pick the right time

You will be aware that there are times when you are just too busy or hurried to take onboard any new information. It is the same scenario for everyone else in the world too. So, if you need to tell somebody something important, don’t tell them just as they are leaving the office or are setting off for work, or when they are trying to cook dinner for the family.

They just won’t physically be capable of listening to you properly at that point and you will be wasting their time and yours.

3. Select a good situation

Do you need to have privacy for when you tell the other person what you need to tell them? If so, ensure that you get the privacy and don’t just jump at the first opportunity you get to talk to them.

Maybe you need to arrange to have the kids babysat while you talk properly with your spouse. Again, arrange it properly and take the stress out of the situation.

4. Avoid distractions

This is linked to the previous point and is particularly pertinent where it is serious or bad news which you need to pass on to the other person. Switch off the TV and get away from other people in order to be able to talk effectively one-on-one.

If you want people to listen to you at a conference or meeting, you should also cut out distractions. Make sure that no-one not connected to the meeting will wander into the room and interrupt. Put up a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign if necessary. Switch off noisy fans or lights which buzz.

5. Don’t distract your listeners

You carry a lot of the responsibility for whether or not someone listens to you attentively. So, don’t exhibit annoying mannerisms like fiddling with your sleeves or collar, even if you’re nervous. If you do, that is what your audience will remember, not what you said to them.

6. Don’t talk for too long

If you are speaking to people, be aware that they will take in much less information than if they had it in front of them to read. So don’t talk for long. Fifteen minutes maximum is the longest time that most adults can attentively listen to an oral presentation and for children it is much less time.

7. Make your message clear

Make sure you present a logical argument, with all your points in the correct order. Keep your sentences short and direct.

8. Pause

Every few sentences, you should stop and look at your audience. This allows you to judge how well the audience are receiving your words. More importantly, it allows the listeners to catch up with you and process what you’re saying. Listening attentively is hard work so they need the occasional break or their brains will just switch off whether you want them to or not.

9. Be good to listen to

Vary your tone of voice in volume and pitch to make your presentation interesting. You can also use these techniques to draw attention to specific parts of the speech.

If you follow these steps for how to get people to listen to you, you should get an attentive audience, no matter how big or small. That will enable you to effectively get your point across to your listeners.

22 Nov

Your groomsmen will be donating their time to your big event. They will appear at the tailor or rental store to be fitted for that formal wear. Endocrinology of Love: Why Do We Fall in Love?

22 Nov

Love is nature’s design of keeping the human species alive and reproducing. Research have proven that hormones govern the transformation of couples from being lovestruck to being in love forever.

A woman’s smile may just be a simple smile. But deep inside, a cocktail of hormones is conniving to start the lovely process of reproduction. A woman’s smile is a sign of hormones at work.

According to research, when a woman sees a man, or even just an image of a man, her smile muscle becomes more active. The hormone progesterone is responsible for this effect. This is nature’s way of increasing the chances of intimacy. Furthermore, the same hormone starts to prepare the womb for a possible pregnancy.

Helen Fisher of Rutgers University, US has proposed that there are three stages of love – lust, attraction and attachment, with each stage driven by different hormones.

LUST: Attraction on the spot

This is the first stage of love and is driven by the sex hormones testosterone and estrogen. These hormones governs physical attraction on the spot. Thus, explaining the famous line “Love at first sight.”

ATTRACTION: Reason behind courtship

The second stage of love is attraction. This is the time when couples are truly love-struck and can think of little else. Research propose that the neurotransmitters – adrenaline, cortisol, dopamine, and serotonin – are involved in this stage.

Adrenalin and cortisol activate stress response. This creates the charming effect that when couples unexpectedly bump into each other, they start to sweat, their hearts beat faster and their mouths go dry.

Meanwhile, dopamine stimulates “desire and reward” by triggering an intense rush of pleasure. With dopamine, couples often show increased energy, less need for sleep or food, focused attention and exquisite delight in smallest details of the new relationship.

Serotonin, being the most widespread neurotransmitters in the body, is perceived as one of the most important love chemicals. It explains why thoughts of each other keeps popping into their minds. It makes couples want to stay together to enter the next stage of love, which is attachment.

ATTACHMENT: The long-term, sexually-engaged bond

In this stage, oxytocin and vasopressin play the major part. Oxytocin, or the cuddle hormone, is a powerful hormone released by couples during sex – orgasm to be exact. The hormone increases the feelings of attachment and makes couples feel much closer to one another. Thus, the more sex they have, the greater the bond they create. Vasopressin is perceived to be the monogamy chemical. This hormone is responsible for the couples intentions in life-long exclusive mating. This is the hormone that promotes devotion to each other.

We may believe that we are choosing our destiny. But the truth is that we are victims of nature’s lovely plan.

Love Is All There Is!

22 Nov

Love is a wonderful feeling! Being in love with someone and having that love returned is indeed fabulous. But love isn’t limited to just romance; neither can it be bought. Love is something that should be felt for every living being on this planet, and it has nothing to do with romance.

Do you really believe that love is all there is? Is it simply a mental thought or do you really know that from within you? Can you imagine what our world would be like if everyone knew love and lived it?

There would be peace. People would say nice things about everyone and would always be looking for the good in each other. No one would abuse another and the sharp tongues of gossip would never wag. Stress wouldn’t exist and kindness would be the norm. Can you imagine continually feeling good about life and excited to arise every morning because you are so happy? Can you envision perfect harmony in every situation?

I can see all of this as a possibility! Granted, we cannot control the world or anyone else for that matter, but we can control ourselves, and that dear friends, is where it all begins.

Everything in our world occurs because of a choice. That choice is made because of that person’s perception of what is “right.” I prefer to remove right and wrong and simply use this instead: If it raises me up then it is something I do, but if it pulls me down then I simply back away. You always have the power of choice and it is you who choose whether to love someone or not. Love of course is the only choice that raises you up!

Yes, it can be hard at times to see or feel love toward someone who you believe has wronged you in some way. Yet every being on this planet has the same Creator, and all creations come from the sane source – love. So that means even those who might gossip about you, or cheat you out of your money or a promotion, or decide they don’t want your friendship any more, are still individuals who deserve your love. Is that a hard pill to swallow?

It is for most people since people are conditioned to hold “justifiable” grudges and retaliate, you know, the old story of you hurt me so you deserve to be hurt too. Here’s how I see the whole scenario. First of all, in all those situations mentioned above, the problem centers with the other person – it’s their stuff. However, if you dance in their dance and are sucked into their drama, you become part of it. At that point you have lowered your vibrations to match theirs and are in a dance that doesn’t come from love, pulling you down into it. If on the other hand you recognize their essence from love, you can rise above it all and continue to love. It doesn’t mean you must accept their behavior – you may need to detach from the relationship, but the love remains in tact.

Secondly, I believe that in every situation and relationship there is a master plan. I also believe that everything has a reason for happening so is always in divine order. That means to me that any situation that arises, even in a relationship, is teaching me something of value. When something seems to take a downward turn, I accept it as part of my path and look for the gift in it. Is this easy to do?

Not at first. But when you realize that everything in the universe was created from love and has the same Creator, and when you understand that all things happen in divine order, then everything always has good in it. However, there is still more to talk about.

There is an old saying that says you cannot give what you don’t have. This is so true, and certainly applies to love. If you don’t have love in your heart for yourself, you cannot share it with anyone else. It is totally and irrevocably impossible! So that’s what I meant when I mentioned at the beginning that all begins within you. You create the feeling of love, for yourself first, and then for others. When you love yourself unconditionally, it is easy to love everyone else!

So as you go forward with your life, know how wonderful and priceless you are. As you feel the love inside it will be so easy to feel that same love for everyone in your life because it will literally overflow into their space. And do you know what? You won’t have to even say a word (although loving words are nice to hear) because they will simply feel it bubbling out or you!

360-Degree Compound Eyes

22 Nov

In my previous job, I was fortunate to meet many respectable supervisors who gave me valuable advice, most of which was very useful. Some of them phrased their advice in analogy rather than in direct suggestions or instructions. I found these analogies very useful, not only at the moment, but also in solving problems I had in my later experience. The most impressive advice was that I should have “360-degree-view compound eyes.”

When a person becomes enthusiastic and focused on doing something, he or she tends to be narrow-sighted, leaving the person unable to see anything but the work he is concentrating on at that time. This is the moment in which obstacles are prone to hit from unexpected angles, ruining the work that was the person’s exclusive focus. Having 360-degree-view compound eyes enables a person to look at a situation from all angles to better anticipate potential problems.

There is an ancient Chinese fable telling about how danger exists in our lives. Once upon a time, there was an aristocratic politician who enjoyed hunting. One day he went hunting and found a bird that he had not seen before. Wanting to get the bird, he took his bow and arrow and aimed at it.

Suddenly, the aristocrat became aware that the bird was focusing on something. The aristocrat found that there was a mantis on a leaf near the bird. The bird aimed a blow at the mantis. Taking a closer look, the hunter noticed that the mantis was trying to hunt a locust on the wood trunk.

The mantis was hunting the locust, and the bird was aiming at the mantis. The aristocratic hunter was trying to shoot the bird. He shuddered with horror because he felt that somebody or something else was trying to hunt him. He threw away his bow and arrow as he started to run. The hunter only wanted to get away from the place as soon as possible. A park guard caught him on his way back to his horse. This occurred in the national park where hunting was prohibited. The hunter was right; the park guard had been watching him as he focused on the bird.

The guard released the aristocrat because he was not a professional hunter. The aristocrat was lucky to learn to be wary of things behind him. He needed to learn to pay attention to all of his surroundings including both sides, the front, and behind him. He would not have gotten caught if he had compound eyes capable of seeing in every direction.

Special Effects Stage Lighting for TV

22 Nov

When talking about special effects lighting, there are hundreds of different options available, depending on the needs and preferences of the personnel involved. Stage lighting for theater productions, for example, can differ dramatically from those of a rock concert, which can also be quite different from those used in television show productions. However, while all of these different special effects serve unique purposes, the technology that controls them is, at its core, very similar. For that reason, there are many different options available for effective stage lighting for TV.

Limited budgets and limited time

When a producer or director has only a limited amount of money or time for their film shoot, they might not be able to hire the right caliber of crew members to run lights manually. The production may also be relatively small and therefore the ability to turn lights on or off during scenes can be quite bothersome.

Technology has created an ability for almost any filmmaker to manipulate lighting on set to create a number of special effects without having to deal with external factors. Computer-controlled lights can turn on or off as needed in the middle of a shoot, they can be moved into new positions for a continual shot, and they can also be triggered to match up with music or other sound effects.

The latter has been commonly used in music productions and concerts for years and it is that basic concept that appeals to a number of new and aspiring filmmakers.

SMPTE

The SMPTE time coding that is used in film and audio can also be used to control lights automatically. By mapping out the scene, its timing and tempo, a director can accurately trigger lights to turn on, or off, to create the shadows or special effects that he or she needs for a particular scene. In a continuous shoot, the lights (if they are equipped with the proper motors) can be moved into new locations.

Colored lights can also be triggered on or off to create different effects as the scenes or the director dictate. While this level of lighting can require some level of programming into the computer, they can also be controlled manually through the use of a control board. This can all be done by one individual whose job it is to manage the lights in sync with the filming on the set. These controls can be simply turning on or off certain lights at certain times, or triggering a ‘program’ to run, which could turn off or on a number of lights, move others into place, or perform a number of functions.

Music

When planning on putting music to a production, lights and music together can have an artistic impact on the setting itself. Programming lights to change with the music used is possible through SMPTE coding. The term SMPTE shouldn’t be something that frightens a person away from the prospect, since it is a uniform coding format used in the film industry already. It basically breaks down minutes into frames and when a trigger is placed at a certain frame, then the computer will run automatically at that time, establishing the effect that was desired.

The use of computers and lighting technology can free a director from having to worry about whether the lights will be triggered at the right time or not and allow him or her to focus on capturing the scene in its best light possible.
